Halloween

This Halloween started out with a trip to dad's work. We got to see the adorable twins while we were there too!

Then I had to go to work....blah. What more to say? I was the only one to dress up! Bahhumbuggers! ;)

Then, since Tanner had to work tonight. Again. We went to my moms so Hudson could trick or treat with his favorite aunt Jaida! Then he helped mom pass out candy. I think that was his favorite part. He would get so excited when someone would come to the door. He would smile and laugh. I loved it, it made my night.

And my best friends little girl Keira made an appearance too! love her.

Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!

Painting Pumpkins

Obviously Hudson is too little to carve pumpkins. And the Hubby has been super busy these past few weeks (and for the next couple of weeks grrrrr) doing sound for a play at a local theater. So we only had a few hours together Saturday and decided to let Hudson finger pain his pumpkins. I was really worried because he puts everything in his mouth, even if the paint says non-toxic. But, to my surprise he didn't try to eat it once! He loved smooshing it all over the plates though.

I think they turned out super cute! In all honesty, I had no idea how well crayola washable finger paint would stick to a pumpkin, let alone stay on out side. So far so good though, it's still all on the pumpkin and they have been out since Saturday afternoon!

After wards, me and Hudson headed to my moms to hang out for a bit while Tanner was at work. My little sisters favorite game to play with Hudson is the "im gonna get ya!" game. He loves its, and trys to run away down the hall all while laughing up a huge storm! It is adorable.

also, this little pumpkin outfit I bought while pregnant last year. It was supposed to be pants, they are more like capris. He totally rocks it though.

This face is just hilarious :)

 He is such a riot!

"mom, where did she go?"

By the end of the night, he was crashed! What a great way to start our Halloween weekend.

Im curious, if your little ones are to little to carve what do you do? Nothing at all? Carve anyways?

What If

So, I had an awesome blog planned (we finger painted pumpkins!!) However, I ended up staying this evening at my parents house so all my blog ideas/pictures are at my house. So I thought I would do fail proof post. HA The "what if" post....enjoy

Fill in the blanks....
If I were to get pregnant again...Honestly I'd be ecstatic. Freaked cuz we aren't trying, but I can't wait to have more kiddies!
If I could have any job in the world...I would love more then anything to be a full time momma/house wife. I swear I should have grown up in the fiftys ;)
If I had a day to myself...clean! and rest...50/50
If I could get married all over again...I might change a few minor details. Asked a certain guest to not show up ;) There are lots of new wedding ideas out there I would have loved to have had. But I loved my wedding. There isn't much I would change.
If I could live anywhere in the US...If I ever dared leave my family that is...lol I would love a huge house out in the country. With a wrap around porch, huge yard for the kids and dogs. A tree swing and a pond out back. With in 1 hour drive from a beach. But secluded and small town. Does this even exist? lol
If my boy would have been girl they would have been named...Delanie or Breckon :) There is still hope, I will have a girl one day!
If I could have any talent in the world....To be able to sing. My hubby got all/any musical talent in our family lol. Poor Huddy Buddy has to listen to me sing all the time in the car.
If you met me in real life...you would love me!
If I could go back to school and get a different degree...I would do something fun! something to do with mythology.
If money was no object...I would be one happy momma & wife.
If I could meet one celebrity, it would be....hmm..only one?? britney spears for sure! I love her.
If I could shop at only one store the rest of my life...Target. Hands down.
If we were to get another pet it would be...another puppy.
If I could go on a trip right now...it would be somewhere warm w/ turquoise water.
If I had to choose between a house cleaner and a personal chef...Personal Chef. Never have to cook again, have perfect yummy healthy food? I can do launder for that.
If I had the option of plastic surgery...probably not. Unless medically needed.

Thankful Thursday

I know its a day late, but whatever.

Today I'm Thankful for Friendship.

Not anyone in particular, just friendship in general.
To my best of friends, my acquaintances, my family friends, my work friends, my friends from the past and friends I have yet to make.  Nothing is more important then friendship.

I have a select couple of friends I can tell most anything to. One in particular I can tell anything too. I love having that kind of relationship with them and knowing I can trust them with absolutely anything.

"I've got some friends, some that I hardly know. But we've had some times I wouldn't trade for the world"
This quote (from the song Swing Life Away, by Rise Against) is seriously a theme song for me and a few of my favorite ladies. I can go months with out seeing them, and then when we do see each other its like no more then a day or two has passed. I love them.

I've realized recently that you have to always keep your heart open, and don't hold grudges, because friends can come into your life at the most random of times. They can be people you have hurt in the past, people who have hurt you, people you just lost touch with or people you never imagined in your life again. You may be hesitant at first, but it just might work. You could be making a great friend, and if nothing else at least some good memories. You will never know unless you try.

To all the friends that have come in and out of my life, Thank You!!

Official 9 month post

This little man just turned 9 months old!!
I know, I say it every time but you are getting to big! This is a very bittersweet month for me. It marks new territory. Hudson, from this moment on your starting to spend more time out in the real world, then you did in my belly. Your not my new little baby anymore, your becoming my big little man!! I love you so much Huddy Buddy.
At 9 months you:

I believe your weighing in around 18 lbs and 28 inches
You still have no teeth

You are in 9-12 month clothes. A few 6 month still fit, but for the most part its 9-12. Jammies are 12 month, everything else is just too small!

You are talking up a storm! you can say dada, baba, bye bye, and sometimes mama :) You also love "ooohing" at everything, especially planes. And you love to babble and make 'raspberries' noises.

We've been doing sign language with you, and you have done your first sign, milk!

You are walking everywhere!!! There is no stopping you. You always want down so you can walk, and sometimes you try to run.

You can wave bye bye, clap your hands (which is adorable because you clap them up and down on top of each other instead of the normal way, I need to get a video of this). You clap your hands every morning when you wake up! Your also learning to give high fives.

You are now officially on normal formula. No more soy.

You eat 3 meals a day of pureed baby food, and were starting on finger food. Its taken a couple months, you would gag every time I tried giving you anything, or just stick your tongue out. The doc said to wait a lil bit and try again, so that's what we did. You are starting to kind of get the hang of it :)

You still wake up at least once a night. I fail at the 'cry it out' method. But its ok, your still a baby and that's what babies do.

Your are just the happiest baby every! You are always smiling or laughing and its contagious! You give us the best slobbery kisses in the world. Me and daddy love you sooo much Hudson. You are our everything.

Some pics of your 9 month photo shoot....don't mind your scratch on your cheek :(

and just some random pictures...cuz your that cute!

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

Last weekend we headed out to the pumpkin patch to get our lil pumpkin his first pumpkin!

"Mom, I think these two look great!"

He just had to get out and walk, and of course hold onto the wheel barrow :D

 Me and my little man!

I swear, if it has a steering wheel, Hudson is in Heaven!!

mommy and daddy's pumpkins, and Hudson's 2 little pumpkins.
He fell backwards and just layed there. Chillin :D

We had so much fun this year!! Hudson was adorable and kept "ooohing" at all the pumpkins! He can't carve them yet, but I think we might let him finger paint them.
